As well as our own PedRes Network, we are keen to share details of other organisations and communities that may have connections with pedagogic research. 

British Educational Research Association (BERA)

BERA is a membership association and learned society committed to advancing research quality, building research capacity and fostering research engagement.

The Society for Research into Higher Education

SRHE’s mission is: “To advance understanding of higher education, through the insights, perspectives and knowledge offered by high-quality research and scholarship. SRHE supports and promotes research, aiming to be the leading international higher education learned society.”

Staff  and Educational Development Association

SEDA’s mission is to enhance HE, through educational and professional development, for the benefit of students, staff and the wider public. SEDA does this by offering scholarly and accessible developmental resources and opportunities to everyone involved in positive educational change and innovation in HE.

ARU Pedagogic Research Community

This community is hosted by the Centre for Innovation in Higher Education (CIHE) at Anglia Ruskin University.

Association for Learning Development in Higher Education

ALDinHE is committed to representing and supporting all those working in the field of Learning Development (LD) in the UK. We aim to cultivate a community of practice, promote discussion and ideas exchange, and further the professional development of our members by offering training opportunities and quality assurance.

JiscMail

JiscMail is the UK national academic mailing list service, provided by JISC. You can join a JiscMail mailing list and information about how to do this is available here. You do not need to be based in the UK to join a mailing list.

EDD-COP

The Educational Development Community of Practice – EdD CoP – community of people who support communities of practice focusing on educational development/ teaching & learning.

LDHEN

This list consists of practitioners involved in supporting he students in the development of their academic skills and is managed by ALDinHE.

REAL-HE

This is the Oxford Brookes University Research Centre mailing list for all those interested in researching learning and teaching in higher education. It is used to advertise relevant events, share research, and discuss research on this topic.
